Personal accident and illness insurance is available to both employee and self-employed contract members of the Transport Workers Unions of Australia Qld Branch.

POLICY TWO  - Public liability

Public liability insurance is only required by self employed contract members of the Transport Workers Union of Australia Qld Branch. This policy covers your legal liability for injury to members of the public and or damage to their property arising in the course of operating your business as an owner driver.

It does not cover any liability arising from the actual use of your vehicle as such cover is picked up by either your compulsory third party insurance or your motor vehicle property damage policy

POLICY THREE - Carriers goods in transit insurance

Also known as transit insurance, this policy is designed to cover loss of freight while in your custody in transit. Required by self employed contract members of the Transport Workers Union of Australia Qld Branch. This is not a carriers legal liability policy and excludes dangerous, hazarous and prime mover refrigirated goods.

POLICY FOUR - Journey insurance

This policy covers loss of weekly income and capital benefits arising from an injury whilst the Insured is travelling directly between his or her place of residence, and place of business; subject to no cover being granted where there is a valid Workcover Authority or Motor Accidents Authority compensation claim covering the same event.

Pilots Loss of Licence

Gallagher Pilots Loss of Licence insurance policy has been created to cover lump sum and/or monthly benefits in the event of bodily injury or illness. Bodily injury or illness could result in a long or short term unfitness assessment being issued by the Licence issuing authority.

Pilot in cairns

As a pilot, you’re only too aware of how relatively insignificant health problems, which would not stop a desk-based employee working, can result in the temporary or even permanent loss of your medical certificate. This could lead to potential loss of income and financial uncertainty. Having the right cover in place is vital to help support your livelihood.

Gallagher Pilot Loss of licence insurance is a portable policy, meaning if you decide to change employers there will be no lapse in cover. The policy can also cover both Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing pilots. The policy also includes additional benefits such as Accidental Death.
