Milne Alexander joins Gallagher's Australian business

Gallagher has announced that Sydney-headquartered brokerage Milne Alexander has joined its Australian business.

Founded in 1973, Milne Alexander is currently led by Darren Milne, son of the business’ founder John Milne. The business currently has operations in Sydney and Port Lincoln (SA) and was formerly a non-equity partner of the Steadfast Network.

“Milne Alexander have built a strong reputation in the market for high quality service delivery backed by a specialist team who have achieved significant growth for the business over the past decade,” Harvey (pictured) said.

“There was a natural alignment with Gallagher from the outset and Milne Alexander was impressed by what we were able to offer and how that presented a logical next step for the team and their clients.

“This is a unique opportunity for Gallagher to secure one of the last independent ‘heritage’ Sydney insurance brokers.”
