Live Webinar 17 August: Building an R U OK? Culture in Your Workplace

Published 15 July 2022

Mental illness in Australia is extremely common with one in five Australians aged 16-85 experiencing a mental illness each year. Since COVID-19, contact with mental health services has increased by 42%. There has never been a more important time for businesses to build a mental health strategy for their workforce focusing on early intervention and best practice processes to manage risk.

As we get ready for R U OK? Day on Thursday 8 September, it is a reminder that every day is the day to ask ‘are you   OK?’. You don’t need to be an expert to have this type of a conversation and simply listening and giving someone your time might be just what they need to help get them through.

Mental health goes beyond just one day and therefore should be a conversation that is continued and supported in the workplace.
