There are many unique risks associated with motor sports which is why we're thrilled that Karting Australia has recognised the expertise of our team of specialist brokers here at Gallagher. Together, we've created the Karting Australia National Insurance Program. This program is designed to protect the physical, financial and legal safety of those associated with the sport of karting, from drivers through to pit crew and marshals.

What does a Karting Australia insurance program cover?

Our team is proud to have partnered with Karting Australia to develop a bespoke insurance and risk mitigation program.

Designed to identify and address the specific risks associated with karting, the Karting Australia National Insurance Program encompasses both Personal Accident Insurance and Public Liability Insurance. All karting activities are generally covered, including official races, official practice sessions and committee meetings.

Personal Accident Insurance

Personal Accident Insurance covers karting drivers and other insured individuals (such as pit crew, marshals, officials and volunteers) for medical costs associated with accidental injuries that occur during Karting Australia sanctioned events and activities.

Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity

Public Liability protects Karting Australia and/or its insured individuals against legal and associated costs that may arise due to an allegation of negligence. Professional Indemnity is a sub-section of the Public Liability policy. Professional Indemnity covers Karting Australia and its nominated individuals against legal and associated costs that may arise in the case of an accusation of negligent acts, errors or omissions.

Make a Claim

To make a karting related claim, follow the below step-by-guide.

Steps
1	Obtain a claims form from Gallagher by calling 1800 931 129 or download it below. Download claims form
2	Arrange for your doctor to complete the Medical Statement.
3	Arrange for your club's President, Secretary or Treasurer to complete the Club's Declaration.
4	If claiming loss of income, have your employer complete the Member's Employment Details section of the form.
