[Rodger Irvine]: Rodger Irvine. I’m the construction practice leader for Gallagher in Australia and Asia.
[Angela Vella]: My name is Angela Vella, I’m practice leader in the construction team at Gallagher and I have responsibility for construction nationally.
[Rodger]: I’ve been in insurance for nearly 30 years. Started of life in a construction company in the UK; worked in a in-house broker in the UK. Worked in Asia for a while before coming down to Australia in 1998.
[Angela]: Been a construction advisor in this industry for 15 years. So joined Gallagher 18 months ago – really enjoying the change. My expertise is across the construction sector as a whole. Now, that includes advising contractors, sub-contractors, principals, government authorities, architects, consultants, engineers. It’s quite varied. The thing I’m really passionate about is helping clients manage financial impacts of risk to protect their balance sheet, and ultimately improve cashflow.
