Inclusion and Diversity at Gallagher

We’re committed to driving an inclusive workplace for the benefit of our clients, employees and the communities in which we live and work.

Inclusion and diversity (I&D) is a core part of our business, and it's embedded into the fabric of our organisation. Our high standards of ethical behavior are grounded in our corporate culture's cornerstone, The Gallagher Way. We see inclusion as a conscious commitment and diversity as a vital strength. By embracing diversity in all its forms, we live out The Gallagher Way to its fullest.

Celebrating International Women's Day

We’re proud to support #IWD2022 as a gender inclusive and equitable business for all. Hear from a panel led by our Chief Executive Sarah Lyons with female leaders from Gallagher Natasha Barker, Theresa Lewin Lisbeth Rees and special guest Zoe Ramsay from Borg Manufacturing, one of our key clients, discussing how we can help #BreakTheBias.

Promoting inclusion & diversity for our employees

We pride ourselves on our people. By recognising and celebrating the diversity of our employees, we create a more diverse and inclusive work environment and corporate culture.
Early talent and recruiting

It is important to have a workforce that is representative of the clients and communities we serve. Gallagher has cultivated relationships with historical black colleges and universities, Hispanic-serving institutions, women's colleges, schools with diverse student populations, and diverse centers of influence to expand and diversify our talent pool.

Employee training and development

Our learning team offers unconscious bias training, embeds I&D modules in select training programs, and promotes Gallagher's INCLUDE behaviors regionally to equip our colleagues with tools to foster inclusion and diversity across the business.

Leadership committees

Across the globe, our divisional and regional inclusion and diversity committees are building awareness and action around I&D focuses such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, mental health, and disabilities.

As an organisation, we celebrate the differences and uniqueness of our employees by observing inclusion and heritage celebrations throughout the calendar year.
